Service Sales Engineer - Virtual

About the role

Trane Technologies is looking for a Service Sales Engineer to drive business growth in Finland by building long-term customer relationships and delivering high-value HVAC service solutions. The role is fully virtual, with a focus on ramping up the service business using an established product portfolio, a sizeable install base and a proven aftersales model.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships and develop aftersales business
• Identify sales opportunities, prepare service proposals, present solutions and lead negotiations
• Sell the full range of service offerings, including maintenance agreements, start-ups, digital services, retrofits and replacements
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers and ensure high service quality
• Conduct site visits where necessary, including outdoor and mechanical/equipment rooms
• Report sales metrics regularly and monitor market trends
• Work with internal teams on project scoping, pricing and integration of equipment, controls and service
• Achieve service sales targets and business development goals

Required profile

• Technical degree (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Energy or Aeronautical Engineering) or a business-related degree
• At least 3 years of B2B service or technical equipment sales experience, preferably in industrial environments
• Fluent Finnish and English
• Self-motivated, proactive sales professional with a hunter mindset and ability to work independently
• Customer-focused, preferring direct customer engagement

Required skills

• HACV working experience and knowledge
• Ability to explain technical concepts to customers
• Strong communication and influencing skills
