Pricing Specialist – Electrification

About the role

ABB's Electrification business is looking for a pricing specialist to take ownership of the tender process within its Helsinki, Vaasa or Pirkkala office. The role combines market and customer insight with pricing analysis to build competitive and profitable offers, and supports sales decisions with data-driven insights. It is a new position within the team, so an active willingness to develop processes is also valued.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare competitive offers, cost estimates and pricing solutions based on customer needs, market conditions and business goals
• Lead tenders end to end, ensuring quality documentation, transparent decision-making and on-time delivery
• Work closely with sales, product management and other stakeholders
• Track tender progress, report on results and analyse won and lost deals to support continuous improvement
• Identify commercial, contractual and operational risks and take part in the Risk Review process
• Help build data-driven pricing strategies aligned with global goals
• Ensure consistent pricing principles across the organisation and analyse margin structures and profitability factors
• Develop modern ways of working and automate data processing and analysis

Required profile

• Analytical thinking and comfort with data-based decisions
• Previous tendering or pricing experience is an advantage
• Collaboration skills and ability to work with many stakeholders
• Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English
• Strong data handling, analysis and visualisation skills with modern business analytics tools
