Service Sales Specialist - High and Medium Voltage

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY FINLAND OY is looking for a Service Sales Specialist for its Business Unit Service, based in Vaasa, Lappeenranta or Vantaa, Finland. The role develops and manages customer relationships and drives service sales in the high and medium voltage technology market, owning each sales case from the first customer discussion through quotation preparation and order acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer relationships through active engagement, regular visits and participation in customer events.
• Identify customer needs and opportunities and turn them into value-adding service solutions.
• Manage the sales process from lead generation and discussions to quotations, negotiations and order closing.
• Prepare technical and commercial offers together with technical and commercial experts.
• Support customers in finding suitable solutions for their asset lifecycle needs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a good customer experience and successful projects.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competitor activity, and contribute to sales planning and forecasting.

Required profile

• Technical education, preferably in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in sales, customer-facing roles, project business or technical support.
• Interest in customer interaction and long-term relationships.
• Ability to learn technical solutions related to power systems, transformers, high-voltage equipment and substations.
• Self-driven, able to handle several sales opportunities at once, with strong communication skills.
• Fluent Finnish and English.
