Sales Manager, Protection and Control

About the role

GE Vernova's Grid Automation business, part of its Protection and Control portfolio, is looking for a Sales Manager to join its team in Finland. The role defines and executes the commercial strategy for grid automation solutions that power the global energy transition, acting as a strategic partner to customers and leading high-stakes commercial negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive commercial growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities in the Protection & Control market.
• Lead the full sales cycle, from deal structuring and pricing strategy to contract negotiation and closure.
• Collaborate with channel partners to maximise regional coverage and commercial impact.
• Create and implement regional sales strategies aligned with budgets and order intake targets.
• Act as a trusted advisor to key decision-makers on digital substations, cyber security and asset performance.
• Provide rigorous reporting and actionable plans to navigate market shifts and project complexity.

Required profile

• Results-driven professional with experience in sales, tendering or business development in the Protection & Control sector.
• Ability to lead high-level presentations and build influence with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Professional judgment in complex sales scenarios and proposal development.
• Understanding of market trends, competitor differentiation and customer budgetary dynamics.
• Full proficiency in English and Finnish.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering is nice to have; total experience and achievements matter more.
