Service Sales Engineer - Power Infrastructure

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY FINLAND OY is looking for a Service Sales Engineer for its Business Unit Service, based in Vaasa, Lappeenranta or Vantaa, Finland. The role supports the Proactive Sales team in developing customer opportunities and preparing technical and commercial proposals, working closely with sales colleagues, customers and internal experts. It is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Proactive Sales team in developing customer opportunities and driving sales activities.
• Analyse customer requirements and identify the most suitable technical and commercial solutions.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations, proposals and tender submissions.
• Ensure proposals comply with customer specifications, technical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate bid and tender activities so they are accurate and submitted on time.
• Take ownership of sales opportunities, analyse past cases and share lessons learned.
• Contribute to improving sales support processes, tools and documentation.

Required profile

• Technical background, preferably a degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of MV/HV substations, related products and technologies.
• Previous experience in sales, customer-facing roles, project business or technical support is an advantage.
• Ability to learn power systems, transformers and high-voltage equipment.
• Self-driven, able to handle several sales opportunities at once, with strong communication skills.
• Fluent Finnish and English.
