Sales Manager Defence Digital Nordics and Baltics

About the role

The Sales Manager Defence Digital Nordics and Baltics will lead sales activities for Airbus Defence Digital across the Nordics (excluding Norway) and the Baltic states. Based in Helsinki, the role focuses on securing profitable deals in Integrated Air and Missile Defence and Drone Swarms, while supporting EU and NATO communications and information‑system campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the sales strategy for Defence Digital in the assigned territories, aligned with Regional Sales and programme teams.
• Manage commercial aspects of transactions, including cost, risk, and benefit evaluation.
• Achieve planned order intake in line with technical and economic targets.
• Prepare and lead contract negotiations.
• Support and conduct sales campaigns targeting EU and NATO institutions.
• Define and execute the DD Growth Plan in close collaboration with corporate functions and local entities.
• Uphold Airbus values, ethics, compliance, and export‑control requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the Nordics and Baltic markets with strong cultural awareness.
• Existing network with defence customers is a distinct advantage.
• Deep knowledge of Defence Digital products, especially Integrated Air and Missile Defence and Drone Swarms.
• Understanding of export support mechanisms (e.g., G2G) is a plus.
• Fluent English with excellent written, communication and presentation skills; Finnish or other local languages are a plus.
• Commitment to compliance and integrity.
