Communication Consultant – Innovative Finance Hub (16‑month contract)

About the role

The Innovative Finance Hub at UNICEF is seeking a Communication Consultant to develop and implement its communication plan over a 16‑month period. Based in Helsinki, the role focuses on raising the visibility of the Hub’s child‑lens investing initiatives and supporting both external advocacy and internal awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and execute the IF Hub Communication Plan.
• Produce and disseminate communication materials for external audiences, including reports, briefs, and digital content.
• Coordinate media outreach and manage relationships with partners in the financial ecosystem.
• Support internal communication to enhance staff awareness of Hub activities and results.
• Monitor and report on communication impact and adjust strategies as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in communications, preferably within international development or finance contexts.
• Strong writing and editing skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple deliverables.
• Experience in advocacy and public‑policy communication is an advantage.
