Tech Lead – Data Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Tech Lead – Data Architect to design and own data foundations that enable AI at scale for our European clients. In this full‑time position you will shape how data is structured, governed, secured and made AI‑ready, ensuring it is trusted and accessible across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and define modern data architectures supporting analytics, AI and Agentic AI across structured and unstructured data.
• Lead customer presentations and architecture discussions, articulating choices, trade‑offs and business value.
• Position TCS data offerings strategically in proposals and RFPs.
• Introduce new data paradigms such as data mesh, data products and medallion architectures to solve customer problems.
• Co‑create data solutions with strategic partners, integrating platforms, tools and services.
• Guide and mentor technical teams building demos and prototypes for AI‑focused data solutions.
• Ensure all designs comply with security, privacy and Responsible AI principles.

Required profile

• Broad solution‑level understanding combined with deep expertise in data and solution architecture.
• Strong knowledge of how data quality, governance and accessibility impact AI outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and delivery teams.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to act as a data authority for technical and business stakeholders.
