Forward Deployed Data & Integration Engineer

About the role

As a Forward Deployed Data & Integration Engineer you will work at the intersection of modern data platforms, enterprise integrations, cloud environments and AI delivery, helping strategic customers move AI solutions from pilots to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build data platforms and integrations that AI and agentic solutions depend on.
• Connect AI workflows with enterprise data, source systems and downstream applications using APIs, data pipelines, event streams, middleware and modern integration services.
• Combine hands‑on engineering with architecture to modernise data platforms, turn prototypes into secure, governed, monitored and reliable production services.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise data platform or integration solutions.
• Strong client‑facing and consulting skills with the ability to own projects in complex customer environments.
• Excellent communication in English; Finnish or another Nordic language is a plus.

Required skills

• Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake.
• Azure Integration Services, Boomi, Azure, AWS.
• APIs, event streams, middleware, data modeling, pipeline orchestration, access and governance controls.
