Warehouse Worker – Spare Parts and Materials Handling

About the role

KONE is looking for a careful, reliable and motivated warehouse worker for a one-year fixed-term position in its Helsinki warehouse team. You will handle spare parts and materials accurately and gain hands-on experience in warehousing and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming goods
• Maintain order in the warehouse and ensure goods are stored correctly
• Pick up, pack and load outgoing shipments
• Assist with stocktaking and warehouse accounting
• Keep the warehouse tidy according to 5S principles
• Label goods clearly (destination, work number, arrival date)
• Sort waste and materials according to recycling guidelines
• Contact supervisors about incoming spare parts when needed

Required profile

• Careful, responsible and proactive approach
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to follow instructions and established warehouse practices
• Practical, goal-oriented and able to work independently and in a team
• Willingness to learn many different warehouse tasks
• Good communication skills and Finnish; English is an advantage

Required skills

• Basic IT skills (MS Office)
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is an advantage
• SAP experience is an advantage
• A valid driving licence is an advantage
