VCP Project Leader - Cost Reduction Portfolio

About the role

The VCP Project Leader drives the Value Cost Productivity (VCP) portfolio to deliver annual savings targets by identifying, prioritizing, executing and sustaining cost reduction initiatives. The role owns the VCP funnel, develops and tracks the savings pipeline and leads assigned cost reduction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the cost reduction project funnel to identify, prioritize and develop new savings opportunities.
• Develop and coordinate VCP business cases, including savings estimates, implementation costs and payback analysis, with Finance and key stakeholders.
• Lead the technical content of assigned projects: project plans, work estimates, resource plans, schedules and cost estimates.
• Build relationships with the core team and with Sourcing, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Service, Finance and global vendors.
• Communicate portfolio status, savings forecasts, risks and mitigation plans to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System, Design Controls and applicable regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Science or a related field.
• Demonstrated project management and cross-functional leadership experience.
• Experience in product development, manufacturing, sourcing, value engineering or cost reduction programs.
• Fluent written and spoken English; EU work permit required.
