Technical Producer, Clash of Clans

About the role

The Clash of Clans Tech & Quality team keeps the game fast, stable and easy to build on, focusing on performance, productivity, workflows, technical health, QA and production quality. Supercell is adding a Technical Producer to help the team deliver on these goals and act as the main link between the team and the rest of Clash of Clans or other Supercell teams. The role runs on influence and vision, empowering engineers with clarity and autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the Tech & Quality team running smoothly: turn priorities into a clear, realistic roadmap with the leads, run a dedicated delivery process, track progress and spot risks and blockers early.
• Manage incoming requests, make trade-offs visible and protect the team's focus.
• Act as a go-to contact for cells depending on the team, map dependencies and involve the team early on new features, content and live ops events.
• Translate technical constraints into clear terms for non-engineers and game needs into clear requirements for engineers.
• Build communication habits such as updates, demos and shared roadmaps, and share good practice across Supercell.
• Reduce friction between people, cells and processes, and help coordinate projects across multiple teams.

Required profile

• Experience as a technical producer, technical project or program manager, or similar role working closely with engineering and QA teams, ideally in games.
• Enough technical knowledge to follow architecture and tooling discussions, understand trade-offs and earn engineers' trust; a background in software development or QA is a strong plus.
• Experience shipping live games or live services, including release cycles, client and server updates and incident handling.
• Ability to influence and coordinate across disciplines without positional authority, with clear written and spoken communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Operational discipline to manage many moving parts, and a light approach to process.
