Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Siemens Healthineers is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join its development team in Helsinki. The team works on Varian's next-generation treatment management system, which supports adaptive radiotherapy for cancer patients worldwide. You will take part in the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to production deployment and operation support, and help design software architecture and integrate emerging technologies such as Generative AI.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement single-page web applications and maintain backend services.
• Contribute to software architecture, defining interfaces, data flow and integration strategies.
• Work with the UX, Product Management and System Architecture teams to use emerging technologies and modernise existing software.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with web UI development using Angular or a comparable framework.
• Experience with interface design using OpenAPI or similar.
• Experience with automated testing using Playwright, Cypress or similar.
• Backend development experience with C#/.NET or another object-oriented language.
• Experience developing distributed, service-oriented systems.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
