Senior QA Test Lead – Relays Online Platform

About the role

ABB's Distribution Solutions division in Vaasa is looking for a Senior QA Test Lead. The role owns testing practices for the Relays Online eCommerce platform, which enables end-to-end customer self-service across product selection, configuration, pricing, quotation, ordering, SW delivery and order tracking. It defines and drives test strategy, coordinates testing across teams and lays the foundation for test automation, coaching teams in Shift-Left and Agile quality practices. The work model is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Define and develop test strategy, scope, quality criteria, test plans and test specifications for the Relays Online platform.
• Plan and coordinate release testing across teams, track progress and risks, and manage defects in Azure DevOps.
• Take part in manual testing during critical release phases and support teams in executing test cases within coverage and timelines.
• Drive and improve Agile quality practices and test automation foundations, including Shift-Left coaching, CI/CD integration and automated tests for critical end-to-end flows.
• Integrate AI into part of the processes.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in IT or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation, environment setup and test pipeline creation, with a preference for web application testing using Robot Framework.
• Experience in Agile Scrum, Quality Assurance and test leadership roles in software development environments.
• Fluent Finnish and English.
