Senior Financial Controller

About the role

Posti is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Controller to join its Group Accounting team in Helsinki. You will be a key contributor to external reporting, consolidation and the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual and quarterly reports and consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Lead group consolidation activities and ensure accurate, reliable results for all subsidiaries.
• Own selected areas such as ESEF reporting and impairment testing, acting as the technical expert for external accounting matters.
• Provide IFRS guidance on complex or unusual transactions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to produce quarterly and annual reports.
• Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes, systems and internal controls.

Required profile

• Solid experience in IFRS, group accounting, consolidation and external reporting at a large or listed company.
• Ability to see both the big picture and detailed aspects of financial data.
• Hands‑on, solution‑oriented working style with strong performance under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Good collaboration skills and the ability to coordinate topics across a broad range of finance functions.
