Senior Accountant

About the role

Scandinavian Trust seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to manage a diverse client portfolio in Helsinki. You will work with international companies across the Nordics, handling accounting, tax and payroll tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day accounting, monthly closings and VAT reporting.
• Prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations, accruals, depreciation and financial statements.
• File corporate income tax returns and handle straightforward payroll assignments.
• Ensure compliance with Finnish regulatory deadlines.
• Contribute to internal process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of Finnish accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of Finnish VAT, corporate taxation and IFRS (plus).
• Experience with real‑estate accounting and basic Finnish payroll.
• Ability to work independently with clients, auditors and authorities.
• Fluent in English and Finnish with strong client‑facing skills.
