HR Business Partner – Iittala & Hämeenlinna

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on HR Business Partner to support our Iittala Factory and Hämeenlinna Distribution Centre. In this position you will work closely with daily operations, acting as a trusted HR advisor for managers and employees, and helping to shape a well‑functioning workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first HR contact for managers and employees at the Iittala Factory and Hämeenlinna Distribution Centre.
• Support managers in day‑to‑day people topics such as performance, absence, wellbeing, conduct and working arrangements.
• Provide practical guidance on Finnish employment legislation, collective agreements and company policies.
• Work with employee representatives and support local negotiations and consultation processes.
• Assist the Factory Management Team with HR input on people plans, resourcing, recruiting and capability development.
• Ensure consistent implementation of HR processes, annual cycles and policy follow‑up.
• Maintain high‑quality HR data and contribute to reporting, audits and follow‑up activities.
• Collaborate with Nordic HR colleagues to share learnings and align practices.

Required profile

• Broad experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR Generalist in an operational environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of Finnish employment legislation and collective agreements.
• Proven ability to coach and advise managers on complex HR situations.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluency in Finnish and English.
