Automotive Mechanic – Winter Vehicle Testing in Finnish Lapland

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our winter vehicle testing team in Muonio, Finnish Lapland for the season running from December 2026 to March 2027. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing prototype and test vehicles, ensuring they perform reliably under demanding Arctic conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, inspect, maintain and repair test vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and high‑voltage systems.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and test drivers.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and reporting.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training in vehicle mechanics, automotive engineering or a related field.
• Solid experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Strong technical knowledge of modern vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, high‑voltage electronics and batteries).
• Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English and Finnish.
• Preferred: experience with diagnostic tools, High‑Voltage Vehicle Safety Certification, German language skills, and accommodation availability in Muonio.
