App Store Optimization (ASO) Specialist

About the role

Supercell, a games company from Helsinki with offices in San Francisco, Seoul, Shanghai and London, is looking for an experienced App Store Optimization (ASO) Specialist to join its Media & Ops team. The goal is to increase the visibility and downloads of existing games on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The position can be based in Helsinki or London.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategies and project plans to improve App Store ranking and drive organic installs
• Manage projects from start to finish, working with internal and external stakeholders across creative, product, marketing and other functions
• Run A/B tests to increase conversions, document results and implement them in the stores
• Contribute to keyword optimisation strategies
• Monitor app store performance metrics and analyse data to find improvements
• Create localisation strategies for top markets
• Work with the UA team to build Custom Product Pages and Custom Store Listings
• Support new games at launch

Required profile

• Strong understanding of App Store algorithms and keyword optimisation
• Ability to create reports and knowledge of data analysis
• Up-to-date with mobile digital marketing and ASO trends
• Strong communication, collaboration and creativity skills
• Experience planning and running A/B tests with business functions
• Understanding of upper funnel and down funnel metrics
• Nice to have: 3+ years of ASO management, preferably in mobile gaming, and a background in marketing, product or product marketing
