Global Marketing and Communications Manager, Motion Drive Products

About the role

ABB Motion, a global leader in motors and drives, is looking for a Global Marketing and Communications Manager for its Motion Drive Products portfolio. The role leads global marketing and communications, including portfolio promotion, new product launches and deepening OEM partnerships, and works closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen market positioning and support business growth. It reports to the Global Marketing and Communications Manager, OEMs & Applications, Motion Drive Products. The work model is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual global marketing and communications plans and roadmaps for the industrial segment and applications, aligned with business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end global product launches and marketing campaigns with consistent execution and measurable impact.
• Manage marketing budget allocation, set targets and monitor campaign performance metrics, providing analysis to optimise effectiveness.
• Create compelling storytelling that turns concepts into customer-centric value propositions.
• Work with Sales, Product Management, R&D, regional marketing teams and external partners to gather market insights and strengthen go-to-market effectiveness.
• Support local marketing and communications teams in localising and developing industry campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in related roles, ideally in B2B product marketing.
• Proven experience building and executing global marketing plans and integrated campaigns.
• Excellent communication, storytelling and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluency in English and valid work authorization in the hiring country.
