Project Engineer / Project Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Engineer / Project Manager to lead complex construction projects within the real‑estate sector. You will own projects from concept through completion, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project quality, schedules and costs in line with contract requirements.
• Lead delivery of construction projects from initiation to handover, including site visits and compliance checks.
• Prepare cost assessments, budgets and provide cost consultancy to clients.
• Monitor construction expenditures, control risks, issues and change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development activities.

Required profile

• Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, real‑estate or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of project management or construction experience in the real‑estate sector (retail, healthcare, public, office).
• Fluent in English and Finnish with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Recognised project‑management qualification (desirable) and health‑and‑safety training (beneficial).

Required skills

• Proficiency with cost calculation tools and construction‑cost software.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, cost management and project governance frameworks.
• Experience using project‑management methodologies and tools.
