MarTech Engineer

About the role

We're looking for a MarTech Engineer to own and evolve Supercell's CRM data platform. The role will transition the platform from scheduled batch syncs to real‑time, multi‑channel marketing and audience activation across email, mobile push and future channels such as WhatsApp. It is a platform‑engineering position with full product ownership, partnering with mobile attribution engineers to support the marketing measurement stack.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end CRM data platform, designing and operating reliable, scalable and GDPR‑compliant pipelines between the data warehouse and CRM systems.
• Build real‑time event streaming (e.g., Kinesis‑to‑Braze) to enable triggered lifecycle messaging and richer player experiences.
• Expand messaging channels by establishing data, identity and subscription foundations for email, push notifications and future platforms.
• Partner with the mobile attribution team to ensure accurate conversion data flows and full‑funnel measurement.
• Implement privacy‑by‑design controls, consent management and regional compliance requirements.
• Develop self‑service tools and workflows that allow new CRM data sources and events to be onboarded quickly with minimal engineering effort.

Required profile

• Strong platform engineering mindset – you take ideas from concept to reliable production services.
• Solid data‑engineering background with experience in PySpark, Delta Lake and Databricks‑style batch and streaming pipelines.
• Proficiency with AWS services (Kinesis, S3, IAM) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform.
• Hands‑on experience building event‑driven systems using streaming technologies (Kinesis, Kafka, Pub/Sub).
• Familiarity with CRM and engagement platforms, preferably Braze, and with email and mobile push notification ecosystems.
• Commitment to privacy, consent management and GDPR compliance.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across engineering, marketing and analytics teams.
