Franchise Head Oncology – Finland

About the role

AstraZeneca Nordic Marketing Company is hiring three Franchise Heads for Finland within its Oncology Business Unit: one for Lung Cancer, one for Breast Cancer and one for GGG (gynaecological, genitourinary and gastrointestinal cancers). As Franchise Head you lead the franchise performance and manage the profit and loss, and report to the Oncology Leadership Team.

Key responsibilities

• Drive franchise performance and manage the P&L, including developing the long-range franchise plan and strategic priorities
• Plan resources and assign responsibilities within the team, and coordinate across functions
• Coach, inspire and develop the marketing and sales team (franchise leads, brand managers and sales managers)
• Contribute to the Oncology strategy in Finland and influence Nordic strategies and deliverables

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business or life sciences; MBA or Ph.D. desired
• Leadership experience in pharma or biotech with a proven track record of delivering business goals
• Broad commercial experience across the brand lifecycle, including pre-launch planning, launch execution, HTA validation and long-term business planning
• Proven experience building teams and working with external partners such as patients, prescribers, payors and license partners

Required skills

• Solid understanding of drug development and commercialization in oncology
• P&L management and ability to build a financial narrative
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance and commercialization regulations
