Financial Controller – Local

About the role

Konecranes is seeking a Financial Controller to join its Finnish financial accounting team. You will be responsible for local statutory financial statements, tax compliance and reporting for four Finnish entities, working closely with a team of six experts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Finnish and foreign VAT registrations, compliance and reconciliations
• Handle Intrastat reporting and mandatory regulatory reporting
• Manage fixed‑asset tasks and other team duties

Required profile

• Relevant education in financial accounting with several years of experience in finance roles
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Fluent in English and Finnish, with a service‑oriented attitude

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SAP and oneStream
• Knowledge of VAT, Intrastat and basic income‑tax matters
