Clinical Consultant - Electrophysiology

About the role

J&J Medtech Electrophysiology, the global leader in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders, is recruiting a Clinical Consultant for Finland. The consultant provides expert technical and product advice and training to physicians, EP lab staff, technicians and administrators on J&J systems and catheter equipment, and acts as a bridge between the Sales Manager and key decision-makers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical support and training to customers so that J&J products are adopted correctly during procedures, and keep open lines of communication internally and externally.
• Identify customer needs, raise awareness of J&J products and solutions, seek sales opportunities and connect the Sales Manager with key decision-makers.
• Work with the European Technical team on servicing, maintenance, repair and upgrades of sites and hardware and software.
• Stay up to date on product instructions for use, methodologies, troubleshooting and new clinical product information.
• Build and grow customer relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, hospital administrators and staff.
• Respond daily to customer requests by email and telephone.
• Handle administrative tasks such as CRM, account documentation, complaints, safety and environmental compliance, compliance training, expense reporting and fleet standards.

Required profile

• Degree level or equivalent, preferably in biotechnology, nursing or science.
• Fluent Finnish and business-level English.
• Home in Southern Finland (Helsinki-Tampere area preferred); must be able to travel 2-3 nights per week.
• Valid European driving licence.
• Home office provided.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office packages.
• Project management, analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Experience in electrophysiology or cardiology is an advantage.
