À La Carte Chef (m/f) – Seasonal Winter Position in Lapland

About the role

Join Bolt for the 2026‑2027 winter season in Finnish Lapland as an à la carte chef or waiter. You will work in hotels, resorts or independent restaurants serving a high volume of international guests during the busiest period of the year.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present high‑quality à la carte dishes according to restaurant standards.
• Provide attentive table service when assigned as a waiter.
• Maintain efficiency, teamwork and cleanliness in a fast‑paced environment.
• Adapt to cold winter conditions and variable shift schedules, especially during Christmas and school holidays.
• Follow health, safety and workplace rules at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an à la carte chef.
• Flexible attitude for a busy winter season.
• Respect for colleagues, customers and workplace regulations.
• Initiative to ask for help when needed.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

What we offer

• Fixed‑term contracts typically from October/December 2026 to March/April 2027, with some peak‑only roles.
• Working hours of 90‑112.5 hours per three weeks (≈30‑37.5 h/week).
• Hourly pay €13‑20 for chefs, €12‑17 for waiters, plus double pay on Sundays/public holidays and night‑shift bonuses.
• Accommodation arranged by Bolt.Works or the client, shared or single rooms, rent €250‑550 depending on location.
• Opportunities to work in various Lapland towns such as Rovaniemi, Levi, Ranua, Luosto, Ruka, Ylläs, Saariselkä, Utsjoki and Kemi.
