Staff Software Engineer, iOS

About the role

We are looking for a Staff iOS Engineer to build and scale the Wolt app used by millions, supporting local entrepreneurs and our three‑sided marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to develop new features for the iOS app.
• Continuously refactor and improve the codebase.
• Address real‑time data transfer and synchronization challenges.
• Extend and implement APIs used by the mobile app.
• Write and maintain unit tests.
• Stay current with iOS development standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expertise in Swift and the iOS SDK.
• Experience building, launching, and iterating mobile applications.
