Kotlin/Java Full Stack Developer

About the role

Unikie is seeking experienced Kotlin/Java Full Stack Application Developers for a long‑term customer project. You will develop and maintain business‑critical web applications in a modern cloud‑native environment, working across the full stack on backend services, React front‑ends, and cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Kotlin, Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain React applications with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Design and integrate REST and SOAP APIs.
• Create scalable microservices on Kubernetes and AWS.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.
• Work with SQL databases, Redis, Linux environments and secure authentication solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams in a multi‑vendor environment.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in full‑stack or backend development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Kotlin, Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with React, TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of microservices and API integrations.
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible.
• Good knowledge of SQL databases and Redis.
• Fluent in Finnish and English.
