Senior AMS Verification Engineer

About the role

Bosch Sensortec develops and markets MEMS sensors and systems for smartphones, tablets, video game consoles, wearables and the Internet of Things, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch. At its Finland development centers in Oulu and Espoo, Bosch Sensortec works on SoC MEMS+ASIC solutions for consumer and industrial applications. As a Senior AMS Verification Engineer you will help shape the future of this technology.

Key responsibilities

• Work in an interdisciplinary team developing mixed-signal ICs for the consumer market, from concept to implementation, and contribute to leading-edge analog IP and efficient mixed-signal verification flows.
• Ensure "First Time Right" ICs by running comprehensive simulations at different abstraction levels, such as transistor, model and top levels.
• Understand block and top-level requirements and tools, and switch between design and verification roles as needed.
• Collaborate closely with analog, digital, software, layout, verification and test teams to deliver optimal system performance.
• Communicate and collaborate within an international, globally distributed team of experts.

Required profile

• Proven industrial track record as a senior analog/lead/AMS engineer in IC design.
• Demonstrated understanding of analog circuit design, including block and top-level concepts, circuit topologies, design trade-offs and transistor-level understanding.
• Experience ramping up top-level AMS/DMS verification environments, including building top-level schematics.
• Solid understanding of hardware description languages (Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS and SystemVerilog) for analog and mixed-signal simulation.
• Proficient English.
• Degree (M.Sc., B.Sc. or Ph.D.) in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Enthusiasm, creativity and willingness to work in an international, interdisciplinary team, with focused, structured work habits and ability to work independently.
