Fullstack Developer – AI & API Platform Portal

About the role

Nordea is modernising its technology estate and accelerating AI adoption across the bank. As a Fullstack Developer you will help build a self‑service portal that enables onboarding and management of services on the Kong AI and API platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services with Spring Boot and frontend features using React, TypeScript and Material UI.
• Design, implement and consume REST APIs to ensure reliable, maintainable service interfaces.
• Integrate the gateway with internal applications and external vendors, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with DevOps, UI/UX designers, product owners and architects to deliver production‑ready capabilities.
• Contribute to AI‑driven features, supporting LLMs, Model Context Protocol (MCP) and A2A integrations.

Required profile

• Hands‑on full‑stack developer who enjoys building reliable, maintainable software.
• Experience with integration patterns, REST API design and consumption.
• Interest or experience in AI technologies and integration of LLMs, MCP or similar AI patterns.
