Fullstack Engineer – Membership

About the role

As a Full‑Stack Engineer on the Membership team, you will create and maintain the web experiences and cloud services that power Oura’s subscription lifecycle. You will work on customer‑facing features that directly impact member retention, revenue, and overall product health.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and engineering to shape solutions and deliver them at scale.
• Own vertical slices of the Membership roadmap from discovery through production operation.
• Build accessible, responsive web experiences using TypeScript, React, and modern frontend practices.
• Design and implement backend services and APIs with Node.js, Express, and related technologies.
• Handle data models, external integrations, and failure modes related to payments, subscriptions, and billing.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, monitoring, debugging, and production issue resolution.

Required profile

• Several years of professional software‑development experience (typically 4+ years).
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript with a track record of delivering production software.
• Solid experience with React or a comparable modern frontend framework.
• Experience building or consuming APIs, preferably using Node.js and Express.
• Practical understanding of cloud‑based systems and production operations, ideally in AWS.
• Comfort using AI‑assisted coding tools and evaluating their output critically.
