Country Manager

About the role

The Country Manager for Finland will lead Mastercard’s operations, strategy and performance in the Finnish market. Reporting to the Scandinavia, Finland and Baltics Cluster Lead, this role is the primary point of contact for Mastercard in Finland, responsible for driving growth, regulatory compliance and market leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Finland strategy to drive revenue growth, market share and product diversification.
• Lead the Financial Institutions business, aligning local initiatives with divisional and global priorities.
• Build and maintain robust relationships with customers, regulators and C‑suite stakeholders.
• Advocate Mastercard’s public policy agenda, shape brand perception and represent the company at industry events.
• Own the FI P&L, manage budgeting, reporting and ensure consistent revenue growth.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience with full P&L responsibility for a market or cluster.
• Strong commercial track record delivering growth and innovative solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Finland’s regulatory environment and experience engaging regulators.
• Ability to inspire, develop and retain cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with C‑suite and external stakeholders.
