Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

Linear is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to turn the wealth of data generated by its SaaS platform into actionable insights that support international growth. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to design, build and productise reporting solutions that help users understand their business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop reporting capabilities within Linear’s SaaS product using Power BI, SQL and Excel.
• Collaborate directly with customers to capture requirements, ask the right questions and deliver visually appealing BI solutions.
• Identify common reporting needs, build reusable components and productise them for a growing international client base.
• Take increasing ownership of the BI product, contribute to its commercial development and help shape a broader analytics offering.

Required profile

• Proactive, independent mindset with a strong sense of ownership in a fast‑evolving scale‑up.
• Excitement to join a growing company and contribute to its international expansion.
• Ability to connect hands‑on BI work with customer and business needs.
• Professional proficiency in English and Finnish for direct client interaction.

Required skills

• Professional experience with Power BI and the ability to build practical BI solutions.
• Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of databases.
• Advanced Excel competence.
