Technical Specialist - Nordic Managed Services

About the role

Nordic Managed Services (NMS) within Telenor's DNA is looking for two experienced Technical Specialists for its pan-Nordic team, offering Level 3 high-skilled service operation for Nordic corporate customers. The team works on next-generation software-defined networking solutions (SDX, SD-WAN, SD-Branch), network security and LAN/WLAN. The position is based in Helsinki but can be worked remotely from anywhere under a flexible work concept.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches and WLAN access points.
• Operate, configure, troubleshoot and optimise services for performance and security.
• Monitor network performance and implement upgrades and enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions for customers.
• Analyse and resolve complex network issues and support clients promptly.
• Document configurations, changes and maintenance activities.
• Stay up to date on networking technology trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or Telecommunications, plus vendor training and certifications.
• Several years of hands-on experience operating firewalls, switches and WLAN APs, with a strong network management background.
• Team player with strong collaboration and communication skills, including in high-pressure customer situations.
• Fluent Finnish and English, spoken and written.
• Security clearance approval required.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Aruba, Fortinet or Cisco products; troubleshooting skills.
• Preferred: Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Aruba ACA-S/ACP-S or ACA-CA/ACP-CA.
• Preferred: ITIL knowledge of incident, problem, release and deployment management.
