Senior RF Systems Engineer

About the role

GE HealthCare is seeking an experienced Senior RF Systems Engineer to develop the next generation of wireless medical technologies. You will shape complex RF systems from concept and architecture through detailed design, verification, certification, and product release, working on patient‑monitoring wearables.

Key responsibilities

• Own radio system design from concept through implementation, verification, manufacturing support, and release.
• Develop and evaluate RF solutions for Bluetooth, MBAN, and Wi‑Fi implementations, including antennas, RF front ends, and related circuitry.
• Design RF hardware schematics, PCB layouts, antenna integration, and perform simulations and technical reviews.
• Plan and execute testing of low‑level RF parameters to system‑level wireless performance.
• Support product‑level radio certification activities such as FCC and RED.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, systems, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, and external partners to resolve EMC, antenna, and connectivity issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field.
• Strong understanding of radio technology fundamentals from component level to complete systems.
• Significant hands‑on experience in radio systems and RF development, preferably with at least one product taken from concept to release.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and communicate complex RF topics clearly to cross‑functional stakeholders.
