Technical Project Manager – R&D Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to drive complex product development projects from concept through prototype and implementation. This hands‑on role requires a strong engineering background and a proven track record of managing cross‑functional R&D projects in an industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead R&D projects from planning through execution and delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocations.
• Drive project execution using rigorous follow‑up, reporting, tracking tools, and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across engineering, product development, operations, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, budgets, and timelines to keep projects on track.
• Facilitate problem‑solving activities and support teams in removing obstacles.
• Establish and maintain project management processes and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support prototype development and coordinate activities related to product realization.
• Prepare status updates and communicate progress effectively to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards, including chemical safety where relevant.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of R&D project management experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial‑technology environment.
• Proven ability to develop and manage detailed project plans with disciplined follow‑up.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Strong understanding of product development and prototype development processes.
• Fluent English with excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., planning and tracking systems).
• Knowledge of chemical safety requirements and related processes.
