Quality Engineering Apprentice (Fixed-term)

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop quality‑management skills in an international industrial environment. You will work at Prysmian's marine cable factory in Kirkkonummi, supporting daily quality activities and gaining hands‑on experience as a quality engineer.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in daily quality management together with production, sales, procurement, design and international stakeholders.
• Handle customer and product complaints, support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate supplier quality processes and maintain related documentation.
• Assist in internal audits, report preparation and follow‑up of improvement measures.
• Collaborate with both local and global teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Required profile

• Technical or quality‑management education background.
• Interest in quality processes, problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Systematic, analytical work style with good collaboration skills.
• Fluent Finnish and English communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with SAP systems.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
