Specialist – Centre for Radical Creativity

About the role

The Centre for Radical Creativity at Aalto University seeks a Specialist to drive multidisciplinary content creation, project coordination and partnership development. The role is fixed‑term from 1 October 2026 to 31 December 2027 and involves close collaboration with university schools, external partners and business networks.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and coordinate projects and activities across Aalto’s schools, respecting the needs of diverse disciplines.
• Develop, manage and publish content that showcases radical creativity.
• Build and strengthen partnerships together with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Prepare project applications and funding proposals in collaboration with the internal network.
• Coordinate communications, including press releases, website updates and media outreach.
• Ensure all activities align with the Centre’s strategic goals.

Required profile

• Relevant master’s degree with strong knowledge of creativity and radical‑creativity concepts.
• Experience in multidisciplinary environments and partnership building.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Finnish is a plus.
• Producer‑mindset with clear goal setting, cost awareness and service‑design thinking.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using a CRM system for partnership management.
• Basic website‑update skills on a Drupal platform.
• Strong communication skills for press releases, project applications and stakeholder outreach.
