Communications Specialist

About the role

Metso is seeking a Communications Specialist to join its Internal Communications and Functions team. The role focuses on creating and managing internal communication channels, producing high‑quality video content, and exploring AI‑driven tools to enhance employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate editorial planning and content flow with the global communications network and key stakeholders.
• Manage filming, video‑editing and operation of the internal video studio for corporate videos.
• Create and edit diverse content formats such as blogs, vlogs, podcasts, and AI‑enabled media.
• Develop and maintain editorial agents, bots, and AI tools to streamline communication processes.
• Act as Viva Engage community manager, fostering dialogue and engagement among Metsonites.
• Use channel analytics to refine content strategy and improve reach.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree and interest in corporate communications within a global company.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong editorial judgment.
• Creativity and passion for visual content, including video, photography, and animation.
• Experience in filming and editing corporate videos.
• Interest in digital communications, AI, and emerging formats.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and senior stakeholders.
