Software Engineer – Connectivity Drivers

About the role

GE HealthCare is seeking a Software Engineer to design, implement, and test connectivity driver software that links hospital medical devices to the digital ecosystem. You will work within a Scrum team to ensure high‑quality, compliant solutions for clinical data exchange.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software drivers that create clinical data connections between GE HealthCare information management products and various manufacturer devices.
• Use tools and processes to produce robust, medical‑industry‑compliant software, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement of development methods and tools while collaborating in a multicultural, global environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Bio‑IT, or equivalent.
• Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving curiosity and dedication to quality work.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and legally authorized to work in Finland.

Required skills

• Object‑oriented design in C++.
• Experience with Windows and Linux platforms.
• Embedded systems development and configuration management.
• Knowledge of physiological measurements and device technologies.
• Agile software development experience.
