Senior Analog IC Design Engineer

About the role

Bosch's Finland development centers in Oulu and Espoo are developing SoC MEMS+ASIC solutions for consumer and industrial applications. As a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer, you will help shape this technology in an interdisciplinary team developing mixed-signal ICs from concept to implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop mixed-signal ICs for the consumer market, working from concept through implementation.
• Ensure "First Time Right" ICs by running comprehensive simulations at different abstraction levels, such as model and transistor level.
• Understand block and top-level requirements and the need for documentation.
• Collaborate closely with digital, software, layout and test teams to deliver solutions with optimal performance.
• Communicate and collaborate within an international, globally distributed team of experts.

Required profile

• Proven industrial track record in IC design in senior analog or lead roles (mandatory).
• Degree (M.Sc., B.Sc. or Ph.D.) in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient English.
• Enthusiasm, creativity and willingness to work in an international, interdisciplinary team.
• Focused, structured working practices with the ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Analog circuit design: block and top-level concepts, circuit topologies, design trade-offs, transistor-level understanding and process technology.
• Ramping up top-level AMS/DMS verification environments and running top-level simulations.
• Strong system-level understanding to support "First Time Right" delivery.
• Modeling with Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS and SystemVerilog, especially for analog and mixed-signal simulation.
• Analog layout and ESD experience is a plus.
