Senior AMS Verification Engineer

About the role

Bosch Sensortec, a subsidiary of Robert Bosch, develops MEMS sensors and sensor-based solutions for smartphones, tablets, video game consoles, wearables and the Internet of Things. Its Finland development centers in Oulu and Espoo are working on SoC MEMS+ASIC solutions for consumer and industrial applications. As a Senior AMS Verification Engineer you will help shape this technology, working in an interdisciplinary team developing mixed-signal ICs from concept to implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop leading-edge analog IP and efficient mixed-signal verification flows, partly responsible for them
• Ensure "First Time Right" ICs by running comprehensive simulations at transistor, model and top levels
• Understand block and top-level requirements and tools, and switch between design and verification roles as needed
• Collaborate with analog, digital, software, layout, verification and test teams to deliver optimal system performance
• Work within an international, globally distributed team of experts

Required profile

• Mandatory proven industrial track record as a senior analog/lead/AMS engineer in IC design
• Degree (M.Sc., B.Sc. or Ph.D.) in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Proficient English
• Enthusiasm, creativity and willingness to work in an international, interdisciplinary team
• Focused, structured work style with ability to work independently

Required skills

• Analog circuit design, including block and top-level concepts, circuit topologies, design trade-offs and transistor-level understanding
• Top-level AMS/DMS verification environments, including building top-level schematics
• Hardware description languages: Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS and SystemVerilog, with emphasis on analog and mixed-signal simulation
