Satellite Launch Specialist

About the role

The Satellite Launch Specialist will ensure that ICEYE’s synthetic‑aperture‑radar (SAR) satellites are ready for launch and can be deployed safely into orbit. Working within the Global Manufacturing Organisation, you will act as the key interface between satellite production teams, launch service providers and launch agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage launch mission deliverables, including planning, scheduling, documentation and readiness reviews.
• Coordinate launch campaigns with service providers such as ExoLaunch and SpaceX, as well as internal engineering and operations teams.
• Identify and mitigate production‑related risks across ICEYE’s manufacturing facilities to protect launch timelines.
• Develop and maintain technical launch requirements and ensure they are communicated to all stakeholders.
• Build redundancy within the launch team to enable autonomous mission management.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of satellite production processes and launch operations.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams and external partners in a high‑tech environment.
• Ability to analyse risks, propose mitigations and drive solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to serve as the bridge between engineering, production and launch service providers.
