Project Co-ordinator - Data Centre Project

About the role

Turner & Townsend is looking for a Project Co-ordinator for its one-of-a-kind data centre project based in Oulu, Finland. The role coordinates project management activities, resources, equipment and information, and works closely with the project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
• Break projects into defined deliverables according to project governance, assign actions and set delivery timeframes
• Liaise with stakeholders to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
• Assign tasks to internal teams and help manage schedules and follow up on outstanding actions
• Analyse risks and opportunities, and develop reports and presentations for internal governance
• Monitor project progress, escalate issues and act as the point of contact communicating project status to all participants
• Work with project managers to remove blockers
• Prepare and issue governance and legal paperwork such as gateways, budgets, environmental impact assessments and consultant contracts
• Maintain project documentation, plans and reports, and run quality assurance tests
• Record outcomes of internal governance meetings and set timeframes to close them out

Required profile

• Experience supporting the delivery of projects from conception to delivery
• Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
• Organizational skills, including multitasking and time management
• Client-facing and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
