Lead Scheduler - Data Centre Construction

About the role

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services company with a strong presence in the data centre sector, is recruiting a Lead Scheduler for its Data Centre team. The role covers projects in northern Finland and involves regular travel throughout the country to support projects and client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the on-site scheduling team in reviewing internal and contractor schedules, analysing and validating time impacts, scope changes and delays so risks are identified early.
• Maintain and monitor the master plan schedule and ensure tasks meet project requirements.
• Lead the development of tender and contractual requirements, including KPIs on schedule accuracy, milestone achievement and timely programme submission for core contracts.
• Develop and manage the integrated work breakdown structure and integrate contract packages into the master plan.
• Review contractor schedules and recommend actions to the client, and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Monitor key milestones against the baseline programme, assess contractor extension of time claims and prepare defence and recommendation reports.
• Analyse the critical path and constraints, develop mitigation plans, and prepare site logistics and micro-management schedules for critical work.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, focused on complex construction projects, with Data Centre experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating schedule performance data from multiple sources into a master schedule and delivering project status reports for large-scale projects.
• Strong managerial and stakeholder management experience.
• Excellent English; Finnish preferred.
• Availability for on-site work.

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Earned Value Management (EVM)
