Operations Officer

About the role

ACTRIS ERIC is looking for an Operations Officer to support the efficient functioning of the ACTRIS research infrastructure. The role focuses on internal coordination with numerous measurement facilities and on managing European project activities.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate ACTRIS National Facility coordination and operate the related database and web interface.
• Represent the ACTRIS Head Office in online meetings of operational bodies to improve internal communication.
• Provide operational support to the ACTRIS Scientific Advisor.
• Participate in planning and execution of externally funded projects, primarily those funded by the European Commission.
• Support the integration of new tools and technologies into ACTRIS operations.
• Carry out various other tasks related to the operation of ACTRIS.

Required profile

• Master of Science or equivalent degree.
• Experience in EU proposal writing and project work.
• Good organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Readiness to travel as required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results.
