About the role

Join Posti for the Christmas season as an Opastajatonttu (guide elf) at Santa’s Main Post Office in Rovaniemi. You will provide first‑class customer service to a multicultural visitor base, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist visitors, offering information and guidance throughout the post office.
• Manage visitor flow, acting as a “door elf” to keep queues moving efficiently.
• Support store operations, including occasional tasks related to retail and facility upkeep.
• Maintain a cheerful and calm demeanor during busy periods.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage each visitor individually.
• Good stress tolerance and the capacity to stay positive under pressure.
• Willingness to embody the elf role and convey festive spirit.
• Fluent Finnish and English; additional language skills are a plus.

Required skills

• Fluent communication in Finnish and English.

What we offer

• 30‑hour work week during the holiday season.
• Hourly wage of €14.94, in line with the logistics collective agreement.
• Fixed‑term contract from 1 December 2026 to 6 January 2027.
