Business Developer – Surgical Robotics

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a highly motivated Business Developer to sell the Hugo™ Robotic-Assisted Surgery System to existing hospital clients. You will work in a competitive environment, building relationships with surgeons, C‑suite executives, and budget holders to drive adoption of advanced surgical robotics.

Key responsibilities

• Travel frequently (70%+ of the time) to meet clients and colleagues across EMEA.
• Engage surgical teams to identify opportunities for expanding robotic‑assisted surgery.
• Develop business cases, total cost of ownership comparisons, and cost‑per‑procedure analyses for hospital decision‑makers.
• Collaborate within a matrix organization to manage multi‑stakeholder relationships and close complex sales cycles.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading negotiations and selling complex medical devices or capital equipment with a proven track record.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Native‑level proficiency in Finnish, Danish or Norwegian and fluency in English.
• Established network of surgeons and operating‑theatre professionals.
• Experience working in operating rooms and willingness to travel extensively.
