MRO and Operations Specialist

About the role

Gehc is looking for an MRO and Operations Specialist to support its Plant Management and Operations teams. The role covers a wide range of tasks, from order management to event organisation, and sits within the Operations Organisation while working closely with assistants from other organisations on the Helsinki site in Vallila. The position can be adapted according to the candidate's interests and capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage orders for indirect material and handle related invoices, acting as a contact person for the order management system (Coupa)
• Work closely with manufacturing and office suppliers
• Handle internal communication within Operations
• Organise internal events (service years, anniversaries) and external events (customer and supplier visits), including venues, equipment, material preparation and catering
• Plan the office layout
• Support travel arrangements and expense claims
• Navigate internal systems such as IT, HR and facility services
• Follow company policies and comply with the strong EHS culture
• Carry out other tasks needed in this fast-paced, highly regulated industry

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of business administration, comparable to a university degree or a high school diploma with relevant experience
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility and attention to detail
• Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English
• An interest in people and the medical technology industry is preferable
