Mechanical Engineer – Service Products Delivery

About the role

Fastems is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its Service Products Delivery team in Tampere. You will contribute to the design and delivery of service products and system modifications that keep our global installed base operating efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design mechanical solutions, create 3D models, manufacturing drawings and schematics for customer deliveries.
• Support global service functions with mechanical designs, perform strength calculations and participate in service product development.
• Collaborate with delivery managers, electrical engineers and software developers to ensure specifications, quality standards, budget and schedule are met.

Required profile

• MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering with several years of design experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, fluent in English and Finnish.
• Self‑driven, systematic, quality‑focused and able to maintain a positive team atmosphere.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SolidWorks for 3D modelling.
• Experience using SolidWorks Simulation or similar tools for strength calculations.
